CRC-Evans Pipeline International Signs Agreement With Technip Norway

CRC-Evans Pipeline International, Inc. announced a new strategic agreement between its offshore division and Technip Norway.

CRC-Evans Offshore will provide all onsite welding services, including full supply of welding equipment and personnel to the Statoil Hyme and Vigdis mainline welding projects.

The agreement, which will be valid until 2014, extends the 15-year relationship between Technip Norway and CRC-Evans by increasing the scope of services provided by CRC-Evans. CRC-Evans will also be responsible for the management of the welding firing line for the projects, charged with achieving targeted productivity.
 
Double joint production began in November and mainline fabrication commenced in January.
