More Russian Gas Destined For Turkey

Gazprom has raised its gas supply to Turkey by 25 MMcm/d to 67.4 MMcm/d via Ukraine and the Blue Stream pipeline.

The increase comes at the request of Turkish state pipeline operator Botas. Turkey is the second-biggest importer of Russian gas, after Germany. In 2007, Russia exported 23.4 Bcm of gas to Turkey.
